still here

we're still here! after my last post we moved to our new house, and just now got internet yesterday. we got in the house and had a quick succession of christmas parties, then two days later we headed to the ranch in south texas for new year's with russell's family. we ended up staying there for 12 days, the last four being with 50 plus college kids from our church on a retreat. it has been a whirlwind, and with russ out of town for a few days, and finding out today that our garage fills with water when it rains, i am about to crash. also i must mention that we tried out the y near us today to switch our membership, and i took a cardio group class that about did me in. i alternated between motivation and wanting to break down and cry as the over sixty woman near me was pretty close to my pace in the movements.
wow.
i haven't done much cardio in a long time.
i was sweating like a mug.
and for now i'll stick with posting a few christmas pictures. you may catch glimpses of the house in the background, but i'll do an official post on it eventually. it's just too crazy in here right now to take many photos of the rooms, so i'll post the three cuties running around in it instead.

and that's the extent this year. i didn't even get any pictures christmas morning. just enjoyed watching them. have a wonderful evening. i'm off to bed. well, i may have a bowl of orange sherbert with chocolate chips first. but then, really, i am going to sleep.
