good friends

last weekend i got to see one of my dearest friends and her two precious kids. cindy was in town watching a couple of her friends run in the olympic trial marathon, and stopped over not just one, but two days! that's a lot of cindy time for me these days, and it was wonderful. eloise and oliver are so cute and my three had a lot of fun with them.

i mean look at her. so sweet.

i even got some snuggles from oliver. melt my heart.

now that we have moved downtown we see our good friend becka less frequently, but when she does come now she spends the night on her own sofa-bed that we got with her in mind. i've talked about her before, but she was one of our neighbors in our old neighborhood, and is like family to us. we love her and the kids are crazy about her. a lot of times now we get to have her here with us a whole saturday night and sunday through church and lunch. 

good friends are good for my spirit.
