when we went to tyler a few weeks ago for sam's birthday, we did a couple of other things as well that i neglected to post about.

my mom took the girls and i to see the beauty and the beast play. of course we had to get fancy for this one.

 as abby poses by the flowers you can see emma is having some serious concerns about whether or not she is going to like her cookie...

also my cousin sydney and i took them to the tyler zoo. i hadn't been there since i was a little girl. it was a lot like i remembered it. so much fun to now take my little girls there.

look at my cousin. so beautiful. 

this giraffe followed us as we walked around the perimeter of its place. i think he knows a giraffe lover when he sees one.

what's that blinding your eyes? don't worry, it's just my massive white thigh reflecting the sunlight back into your face. note to self: don't wear shorts. and if you do make that mistake again, don't sit down. anywhere. ever.
but i still had a wonderful time with the girls.
