this is the center of our home. so many things have happened here. three babies took their first steps here. i love this room decorated for christmas. a lot of laughing and playing in here. this room was really the playroom much more than upstairs.
this is our last day in this house. we found another that will be great for us! last night we had a "campout" with the girls in sleeping bags in our bedroom floor. boxes everywhere and hearts full of excitement, with a bit of sadness - which i think is a good and normal thing. i will always think of this house with comfort and great memories.
and no, this is not the normal state of my house. this is what it looked like for the thirty minutes or so after it was just cleaned to show. the girls were at preschool, sam was asleep. i walk around sometimes and smell the clean, and enjoy looking at the newly vacuumed floors, before it turns to chaos.
and even finn came to lend a helping hand
we have a few weeks in my parents town home before we are able to move into our house downtown, so look for pictures to come!
