oh canyon lake, you are so beautiful.
this post is mainly going to be dedicated to pictures. last weekend, after the second rainbow party, we drove to canyon lake for our summer trip with russell's side of the family. which wonderfully includes 10 cousins, don don and pappy, and four aunts and uncles for the kids to spend time with.

last year em flipped out about even getting on the sled. the whole year since she has periodically said that she will ride it this year.
jumping off the cliffs over by the dam. kinley took the lead off the lower portion.
with emma and abby soon to follow. i love the facial expressions.
then they started going off the higher one.
by day three both the girls were jumping off the high one as well. i have video, but am still having issues uploading them. but really, of all the jumps, i think this one was the best.
there were many sweet moments.
when we weren't out on the lake we were pretty much playing, resting, or eating.
i know it's blurry but danna was so sweet with sam it was too cute not to post.
