Sale for Samuel

so here's the story...

yesterday morning russell and i went in for a growth ultrasound to check on how big samuel is because he was rather large at our last ultrasound. he looked great! 7 lb. 3 oz. in the 77th percentile. he toned it down a little with his weight gain. we could see his chubby little cheeks and he was moving around so cute. looks slightly odd with the eye sockets and nose not showing up all the way, but look how cute! his cheeks are so chubby.

after the ultrasound we saw my doctor. i had woken up the night before a couple of times really crampy, and since i had been awake was having cramps. this was very similar to the way i felt the night i went into labor with emma and abby, so i mentioned this to my doctor. she proceeded to exam and told me with shock that i was 4-5 cm dilated and that i should head over to the hospital to get monitored. sooooo, woohooo! we went home, ate lunch, packed a bag, and headed over. after being there several hours, my contractions calmed down and spaced apart. they had been every four minutes when i went in, and the more i rested, the more my tummy did. we opted to come home rather than sit for hours with no end in sight, where i have now spent the past day with hardly feeling any more cramping.
