happy birthday, cupcake!

today is little mans birthday.

we talked to him about his party for a couple of weeks prior. of which, he would sing, "happy birthday.... cupcake!" repeatedly.
we had a small group of family over and his best little friend for a football themed party. unfortunately the u of h mascot shasta was booked and couldn't make it to his party. i don't know what could be more  important that he couldn't come but whatever. actually, there was a good chance that shasta in our backyard would have caused a complete freak out and we would have had screaming birthday boy instead of happiness.

sam had so much fun.
