by a sweet little guy with blonde hair and blue eyes, and an ear infection. with all of the vacation days where all the kids were in the same room, sam made his way into our bed so that he would not cry in the middle of the night and wake everyone. on the last day of vacation he got an ear infection. so what typically would have been a battle for him to stay in his room when we got home has turned into naps and bedtimes in our bed. he wakes in the middle of the night crying "boo boo!" and "ouchy mommy!"
he also likes to turn himself sideways and kick a lot. thus poor sleep for mommy and russ has been sleeping on the couch for a few nights. we've been infiltrated and we must reclaim our bedroom. he's recovering and the time has come to get him back to his room. but we know our little guy and a big fight is in the works. he will not give up easily.
so today i've gotten supplies to start working on his big boy bed. possibly he will take it a little better with a bed instead of his crib. we shall see.
