laying sod

sunday we tackled the job. (with help from sweet neighbors)

four hours later and lots of mud sprayed off, 160 rectangles of grass were laid down in our backyard.

the mud is hidden.

the girls were sad. 

hopefully it will grow well.

we lay down a lot of sod throughout our lives as parents. i pray that the roots can go deep and that the Spirit helps our kids to defeat the entanglements of weeds, so that they can grow in wisdom and knowledge and love of the Lord.
