soccer

up until now the girls have just done gymnastics... and only a few months of dance until we moved. they are crazy about gymnastics, and the dance they really seemed to take or leave. as long as they can dance at home they seem happy. 

so for the spring we decided to let them choose which they wanted to do - teeball or soccer. they both wanted to do soccer. that was kind of surprising considering they really like to hit the ball with the bat. we went with it though, and a couple weeks ago we went and got soccer cleats and shin guards. i thought there might be a battle with em about the shin guards. she is really particular about things being tight and/or confining on her legs. however, i was pleasantly surprised. only the socks bothered her. not the shin guards.

and in between occasional kicks, sam would just swing and laugh.
