this (part 1)

this has been our house for the past six years. this is the first home russell and i bought together. the first home we prayed over. this is where we brought home three beautiful babies. this is the yard we have played in for countless hours. ran in sprinklers, hit golf balls, made caramel apples for the trick or treaters, rode first tricycles, bikes, and scooters. this is where we have gotten many a stubbed toe and been given many soothing hugs and kisses. this is where we have chased, played hide and seek, and laughed and laughed and laughed. this has been our house.

but our home is not here. our citizenship is in heaven. and i pray with all my heart that those that have been under this roof, and those around us, will all be there with us for eternity.
