catch up

this is a catch up post. sam has started to do a combination of the inch worm and the army crawl around the house now. it's funny to me how i have forgotten. at each stage life changes some. now we are adjusting to watching out for sam on the move and helping him not eat little toys or run his head into tables. the girls are so sweet and caring with him. they adore him.

i'm ahead of myself though. a few weeks ago russell had to do some work near vegas, and asked me if i wanted to make a trip out of it.

yes please.

so, we headed to tyler for birthdays, and then my mom and dad oh so graciously watched all three kids for three nights while russell and i went to las vegas. we ate, and relaxed, and ate some more. we ate, we danced, and we ate some more. we slept, we ate, and we slept some more. you get the idea. i read a book and a half - pure delight.

the point and shoot camera battery only lasted about a day and a half - this would be why we are holding our coffee cups in half the pictures. 

next was easter! a wonderful couple of days spent with family and friends rejoicing that Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!

oh.... part of the reason it has taken me so long to blog again...

we have officially decided to put our house on the market. but that's for the next post.
