embrace the camera: march 10th

i had the girls help me bake a yummy chocolate bundt cake last friday for our small group that night. i am hoping to make it a friday routine. i really enjoy baking, and emma and abby are always wanting to "help" in the kitchen. so if i can get them to nap, and set out things in preparation that i know they can do, then it went pretty smoothly. this week we will try my grammy's absolutely delicious angel food cake. of course, we licked the beaters...
does anyone else think it looks like that isn't my arm? like something else is protruding from my body?
last night at bedtime abby said she had a secret to tell me and whispered... "i wish there was a big, big, big, big, big, big, big field of rainbow flowers with all the colors of the rainbow petals." then emma said she had a secret to tell me and she whispered, "i really, really, really, really, love my sister abby. and mommy. and daddy." sometimes i wish i could hold their little girl voices in a seashell like the one that held ariel's voice in the little mermaid. then i could put it up to my ear twenty years from now when they are women and still hear that adorable noise.
if you missed yesterday's post, there is a sale in my shop now through next wednesday. go check it out.

What sweet secrets. Their little hearts make me tear up.

And your arm? I thought of a flipper. Platypus? Dolphin? What do you think?!
