we spent this christmas season surrounded by love and family. the weekend before we were at my mother and father-in-laws house for what has now turned into a pajama christmas party. we all wear jammies and when we get there the kids have a new set from don don and pappy.
we did our family of five christmas a couple of days early because we were headed to my parents in tyler this year. on the couch before opening gifts..
in tyler we had a few different dinners and a lot of fun - keep practicing those of you who were defeated at cranium :) emma and abby spent the majority of their days outside with my dad and russell. most of the time they were down on the golf course playing in sand traps, hitting the ball, or rolling down hills.
i know this one is blurry but i still really like it with sam and my cousin sydney.
dress up was a theme in gifts this year. belle, tinkerbell, and princess stuff galore.
not only did my mom allow me an entire nights sleep by getting up and feeding sam one night, but my parents (you are so wonderful), kept emma and abby two extra nights in tyler while russ, sam, and i came back to houston. i think that is the longest i have been with a single baby this past three years. we drove at night while he slept and had conversation in the car the whole time. we went out downtown for a steak dinner and i had some pretty calm days at home. it was a special treat, but we were definitely glad to have the girls back. something i love: talking to them on the phone. it is so precious to hear their little voices on the other end.
little man loves his bathtime
i'm going to keep trying to figure out how to put a couple of videos on here of the girls playing outside on the golf course. we got a new point and shoot with great video, but for some reason, i cannot download it like i could the old one.
