Tutus

For Easter this year Nana and Papa Smith got the girls tutus to dress up in. So far it has been a big hit...  Abby in particular likes to spin and dance in hers... that is why there are more pictures of her. It is growing on Emma more though. The first pic is Emma and the rest are Abby.

Last week Russell and I spent the evenings.. and the girls naptimes.. working on the back yard. I didn't get a before picture, but this is one section once we were finished. We have some serious weed issues that we were seeking to destroy. We weeded, put down prevention, newspaper (something new to try), new mulch, and stacked the rocks as a border. I'll let those of you homeowners with weed attacks know whether or not the newspaper works. Usually we have weeds coming up two or three days after we pull them - so we should know pretty soon how it does.
